Mostly yes, but with a few restrictions to keep in mind. Your company name can't be identical or too similar to an existing registered company in that state. It must include an entity designator, for example "LLC" or "Limited Liability Company" for an LLC, or "Inc.", "Corp.", or "Incorporated" for a corporation. Certain restricted words like "Bank", "Insurance", "University", or "Trust" often require special licensing or approval.
